Hello everyone! Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for all the nice emails, fan letters, and great posts on the SCIFI.com board about me and about Jules Verne. The response has been overwhelmingly positive and I have thoroughly enjoyed talking to a lot of you! Due to the success of the previous chat I had, coming soon, there will be another unmoderated chat in a few weeks. It will be another 2 hour chat before the Pacific airing of JV, as it was the last time. Stay tuned to this space to find out the exact day the next chat will be. Also, I am going to start posting some comments each week on the episode that is airing. Mostly they will be my thoughts on the episode, mixed with some fun trivia about the episode. This will be coming soon! :)

Also, I have had a couple of questions about my new fan club's contests! A few of the prizes that will be given away during the first contest include a Jules Verne button, a signed picture of the cast of JV (signed by the whole cast) and a call from me! As soon as you sign up for the fan club, you will receive your New Member packet. Included in each Newsletter is a puzzle. Fill it out and send it in! Out of all the correct entries received, a winner will be randomly drawn. The next newsletter will list the previous winners. Its that simple. :)

Lately, I've seen a couple of movies -- namely, The Gift and Valentine. The Gift was tautly written and suspense filled. I didn't care for Valentine very much, because it wasn't scary (to me) at all, and the ending predictable because of the casting ..... This past week, I had a chance to stop by the school where Jana has been substitute teaching and talk to some of the 5th graders. The kids were really intelligent and cute and it made me miss being in school! ..... Jana and I have been really disappointed with Survivor 2. We think the tribe's decision to boot Kel was really unwarranted. The guy obviously didn't have beef jerky, and it makes me wonder how manipulative Jerri can really be ..... My favorite tv show right now is The Mole. I think it is a great combination of action and intrigue. We think the Mole is Steve, the undercover cop. I know it's not possible, but I would love to be on a second edition of The Mole if they have one! ..... If anyone is looking for a great dance music cd, I have recently discovered the band Cirrus. I'm really amazed this guys aren't much bigger than they are. Give it a listen! :) ..... I'm predicting big things for the Lakers in the second half of the season. I think Shaq's injury has proven to Kobe how much he needs him on the team. I think they will turn their record around very soon
