Hi! Welcome to my new site! I just want to say how incredibly excited I am by
the wonderful job of Vicci and Susan who have created a wonderful site. I
especially love the new favorites category, which will be frequently updated to
music and movies etc. that I like- so you can see what I am listening and
watching at the moment, or just know some of my all time favorites......A lot of
people have been writing in wondering what I have been up to lately. The answer
basically is auditioning. However, since September 11th, the industry has
drastically changed. I'm lucky to be going out on a tenth of the usual number of
auditions. It's really frustrating, because there is nothing I enjoy more than
finding a unique role and doing my best with it. As America continues to
recover, I'm sure the industry will too......If you haven't already, I encourage
you to play around with the new features on the site. We have games, trivia, and
other cool stuff. Plus, there are added extras for the fan club members- with
members only galleries, and monthly ramblings. More details about all the cool
extras are on the fan club page.....I've also added a "Frequently Asked
Questions" page- I've been getting a lot of emails about certain things, and I
hope this can answer those questions for you! Of course, if you have any
suggestions, comments or ideas, we welcome those too!.......Dragon*Con was a
real blast, and I apologize for not updating everyone sooner. I am really
looking forward to attending Media*West in May. I am interested in other
conventions as well, so hopefully I will get to meet some of you at various
conventions this year. I really love conventions because everyone is in such a
positive mood and it feels like a nonstop party. :) It was a lot of fun to meet
so many JV fans and hang out. I look forward to more of the same in the
future!.....NBA playoff time is nearly here. Should be interesting to see if the
Lakers could make it 3 in a row. They've been playing pretty shaky of late, but
I think they can turn it on once the games count......I'm sad to see it looks
like ABC has no plans of bringing "The Mole" back on air. :( How am I ever going
to know who it was??? .....If you are looking for a good movies to rent, I
recommend the independent films, "Bully" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." Bully
is based on a true story and a frightening tale of betrayal and murder. Hedwig-
well, I'd be doing it an injustice to try and some it up. Let me just say this:
John Cameron Mitchell turns in a stellar performance as an actor, director and
writer of this piece. This is an accomplishment I'd like to attempt one day.
Hopefully I can do it as well as JCM. :) A special warning though- the songs
will get stuck in your head. Chris Demetral is not responsible for any side
effects including loss of sleep, lack of concention or banging your head against
the wall to get the catchy lyrics out of your head.......I will be updating this
